MERJE has pledged its support to a regional children’s charity, as part of its annual corporate social responsibility programme.
The company has promised to give the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) a percentage of each permanent placement fee achieved between now and the end of 2015. The money raised will fund a holiday for an entire group, which is provided by the Cheshire-based charity to children with long-term illnesses and deprived families across the North West.
In addition, the MERJE team will volunteer throughout the year, offering their time to worthy events such as CAFT’s annual Christmas party, which the company has also agreed to sponsor.
Jonathan Abelson, director at MERJE, said: “CAFT is a fantastic cause that carries out inspirational work each and every day for hundreds of less fortunate children in the region. As a team, we were extremely touched by the efforts made and the impact the charity has on youngsters and their families.
“We’re delighted to have named CAFT our chosen charity for 2015 and are excited to be working closely with them over the next six months to ensure that our time and financial contributions are used in the most effective way for everyone involved.”
