The Role
As a Claims Manager - Large Loss, you will lead a team of claims professionals, manage a diverse caseload, and oversee larger losses and contentious cases. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, deep technical knowledge in commercial transportation claims, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve claims processes.
Key Responsibilities of the Claims Manager - Large Loss:
- Manage a team of motor adjusters handling multiple accounts
- Oversee large losses and contentious cases
- Implement and maintain best practices for claims handling
- Monitor and analyse claims data to identify trends and improve processes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues
Required knowledge and experience for the Claims Manager - Large Loss role:
- Minimum of DIP CII or equivalent qualification (or working towards it)
- 10+ years of insurance claims management experience in multiple lines of business
- 5+ years of management experience, preferably in a remote environment
- Proficiency with claims systems and technology
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
