As the DMLRO, you will:

Implement AML best practices through continual professional development, representation of the firm at industry forums and networking with peers.

Provide comprehensive support to the business before launching new products and accepting new client typologies.
-
Being the point of escalation for all complete fund structures.
-
Be a member of the Risk Committee, formulate and present detailed analysis to enable the board of directors and senior management team to accurately assess the risk profile of the business.

Act as the subject matter expert in client onboarding, monitoring and relevant regulation.

Provide Financial Crime education, awareness and training to the business as required.

Assist in the application process when obtaining licences in new jurisdictions.
To be considered, you’ll need:
-
An excellent understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and JMLSG.
-
Understanding of MiFID-related obligations as a regulated investment firm.
-
Understanding the E-money regulations and how they apply to the firms’ operations.
-
Thorough knowledge of the flow of funds from merchants through acquirers, PSPs and onward distribution of funds.
-
Ability to clearly articulate complex company/group structures to the board and senior company members.
-
Detailed understanding of the client onboarding process and subsequent monitoring applied to differing risk profiles and client typologies, including corporate entities, institutional entities, charities, trusts, funds and SPVs.

Ability to apply commercial acumen when assessing business opportunities.
