An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the firm in the role of Supplier Specialist, responsible for the implementation of the Group’s third-party risk management framework, developing and maintaining an appropriate and proportionate level of supplier oversight and management across the Groups supplier base, ensuring supplier related risks are identified and mitigated. You will work closely with Group functions that work directly with key suppliers to ensure suppliers meet SLA and other performance measures, that issues are reported upon in a timely and accurate manner. The role will also focus on embedding and maturing the framework in line with Regulatory expectations, so that the risk of supplier failure is mitigated, and a collaborative, value for money approach, is followed wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the supplier risk management framework

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with the company’s risk management requirements

• Identify and mitigate supplier risks

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers

• Provide regular reporting to senior management on supplier risk

Required knowledge and experience for the Supplier Risk Manager role:

• Proven experience in Supplier Management and Third-Party Risk.

• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience in financial services is desirable

• Relevant qualifications in risk management or a related field
