Dynamic and experienced senior leader required to join a well-known Investment / Asset Management firm as Head of Business Risk and Controls. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategic oversight of risk, governance frameworks, and third-party risk, as well as building and executing a strategy to strengthen the control environment. You will lead a high-performing team, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and ensure robust risk management practices that support sustainable growth and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive risk management and control framework.
- Lead the execution of RCSAs, ICARA, and other enterprise risk processes.
- Partner with oversight leads to enhance the control environment by sharing insights, managing assurance testing and tracking progress.
- Lead the development and maintenance of governance frameworks aligned with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
- Lead relevant risk fora to drive accountability, robust tracking and timely closure of risks.
- Own the end-to-end risk reporting process, ensuring timely, insightful, and actionable reporting to senior leadership.
- Oversee vendor risk management, including performance monitoring, cost control, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure third-party arrangements meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Lead third-party assessments and maintain strong internal control frameworks.
- Partner with senior leaders to safely execute business strategy, providing expert guidance on risk and governance matters.
Experience Required
- Extensive experience in risk, governance, or operational oversight roles within financial services.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience managing third-party risk and governance programs.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
