Assistant Manager / Senior Consultant – Financial Services Advisory (Internal Audit – Insurance Focus)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Internal Audit professional to join a leading Financial Services Advisory team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality internal audit and regulatory assurance services to clients within the insurance sector.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager or Senior Consultant, you will play a key part in:

• Leading and delivering internal audit and regulatory assurance reviews within the insurance sector

• Supporting the development of annual internal audit plans and methodologies

• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management

• Providing value-adding insights and recommendations to improve governance, risk management, and controls

• Contributing to wider business initiatives, including training, recruitment, and service development

Key Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven experience in insurance internal audit or regulatory assurance

• Strong knowledge of the insurance sector and UK regulatory environment

• Demonstrated experience delivering internal audit or advisory assignments

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• A recognised professional qualification (e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIIA) or equivalent experience
