Prudential Risk & Reporting Specialist

A well-established investment management firm is looking to hire a Prudential Risk & Reporting Specialist to support its European risk function.

This role sits within the second line and focuses on key prudential requirements including ICARA, risk appetite, and board-level risk reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and Company Secretariat, supporting governance and ensuring high-quality, timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the annual ICARA process, including policy, framework, and report delivery
  • Assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of the ICARA operational risk model
  • Contribute to the delivery and ongoing review of Risk Appetite Statements and Frameworks
  • Work with Risk Business Partners to identify and report risks trending outside appetite
  • Support quarterly risk reporting to senior committees and boards across Europe
  • Ensure all reporting is clear, accurate, and board-ready
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives including emerging risk, climate risk, and regulatory change

Requirements

  • Experience within risk, prudential risk, or risk reporting in financial services
  • Strong hands-on experience with ICARA is essential
  • We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds (e.g. risk, finance, consulting), provided ICARA experience is strong
  • Strong experience producing high-quality, board-level reporting
  • Knowledge of UK and/or European regulatory environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Risk, Finance, and governance functions
  • High attention to detail with the ability to present complex information clearly

  • Experience within asset or investment management
