Overview

Opportunity to join a fast paced, ambitious and growing business operating within the retail investment and asset management sector as they look to strengthen their Operational Resilience function with the addition of an experienced Business Continuity professional.  This role will be located out of the firms Dublin office with a flexible hybrid working policy on offer.

This is a high-impact role focused on leading crisis response, strengthening governance, and ensuring the organisation is prepared to respond to major incidents with speed and confidence.  This position provides critical early-day coverage, playing a key role in identifying, managing, and coordinating incidents during high-risk operational periods.

Responsibilities

Lead During Critical Moments

  • Coordinate and lead responses to major incidents across technology, operations, and third-party providers
  • Deliver rapid impact assessments to support senior decision-making

Strengthen Readiness & Control

  • Own and enhance crisis playbooks, escalation triggers, and monitoring processes
  • Improve incident response speed, coordination, and effectiveness

Drive Governance & Resilience

  • Lead business continuity governance aligned to regulatory expectations
  • Strengthen BC and Disaster Recovery frameworks

Learn & Improve

  • Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis
  • Provide assurance on recovery effectiveness and residual risk

Engage Senior Stakeholders

  • Represent Operational Resilience in crisis and governance forums
  • Align with global teams to ensure consistency of response

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience managing or coordinating major incidents or crises
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Deep understanding of business continuity, crisis management, and recovery frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills in time-critical situations
  • Strong judgement, composure, and situational awareness
