You’ll sit at the intersection of data, policy, and strategy, helping to interpret evolving governance standards and translating them into clear, actionable insights that influence decision-making at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

Shape regional governance thinking

• Lead research into corporate governance trends, regulatory developments, and market practices across EMEA
• Develop insights that inform voting decisions, engagement priorities, and broader stewardship strategy
• Build data-driven perspectives on key governance topics and emerging risks

Turn insight into influence

• Produce high-quality written analysis, briefing papers, and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Translate complex regulatory and market developments into clear, practical recommendations
• Support decision-making on nuanced and high-profile governance issues

Drive policy evolution

• Review and enhance internal governance and voting frameworks to reflect changing regional expectations
• Contribute to ongoing policy development, ensuring alignment with best practice and regulatory direction
• Support periodic reviews and audits of stewardship policies

Collaborate across a global platform

• Work closely with colleagues across investment, ESG, and research teams
• Engage with external research providers and data sources to strengthen insight quality
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that enhance stewardship impact

Support capability building

• Share knowledge and insights with internal stakeholders
• Contribute to training and knowledge-sharing on governance and stewardship topics
• Play a role in strengthening the team’s overall research and policy capability

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in corporate governance, stewardship, policy, or ESG-related research
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and draw clear conclusions
• Confidence producing high-quality written content and presenting insights to senior audiences
• Understanding of EMEA regulatory and governance environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work across teams
• A naturally curious mindset with a strong interest in how governance and markets evolve
