Financial Crime MI Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Crime MI Officer to join a growing Financial Crime function within a well-established corporate bank.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong MI and dashboarding capability with a solid understanding of Financial Crime frameworks. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing meaningful management information, analysing trends and supporting stakeholders across the business with data-driven insight.

The role will involve working closely with multiple areas of the business including Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, Operations and senior stakeholders to help improve reporting, governance, oversight and decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing and maintaining Financial Crime MI dashboards and reporting packs
• Producing insightful MI to support Financial Crime risk management and governance activities
• Analysing trends, identifying anomalies and highlighting emerging risks or control gaps
• Working closely with stakeholders across different business areas to understand reporting needs and improve MI outputs
• Supporting governance forums and reporting activities with accurate and meaningful data
• Helping drive improvements in automation, reporting efficiency and data quality controls
• Translating complex data into clear and actionable insights for senior management

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience within a Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk or MI-focused role within banking or financial services
• Strong experience creating MI dashboards and reporting using tools such as Excel, Power BI or similar visualisation tools
• A good understanding of Financial Crime including AML, Sanctions and broader Financial Crime frameworks
• The ability to work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and confidently
• A proactive and commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail
