MERJE is seeking a highly skilled professional to join a leading insurance company as a Financial Controller/Finance Consultant on a part time basis (2 days a week). Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller/Finance Consultant:

●  Managing and overseeing all aspects of financial control and reporting activities

●  Providing strategic financial consultancy to support business decision-making

●  Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards within the insurance sector

●  Preparing detailed financial analysis and management reports for stakeholders

●  Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

Required knowledge and experience for the Financial Controller/Finance Consultant role:

●  Proven experience in a Financial Controller/Finance Consultant capacity or similar senior finance role

●  Strong technical knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance

●  Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

●  Experience within the insurance sector would be highly advantageous

●  Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic financial guidance and insights
