I’m working with a highly credible and well-backed business operating at the forefront of the digital assets sector, looking to hire a Senior Regulatory Compliance Officer to play a key role in one of the most important regulatory programmes currently underway within the business.

This role sits at the centre of the firm’s UK regulatory strategy and will take ownership of critical regulatory projects as the organisation prepares for the next phase of growth under the evolving UK digital asset regulatory framework.

The successful individual will lead the firm’s UK FSMA authorisation process, support Money Laundering Registration requirements, and act as a key regulatory advisor to the wider business as new products and services continue to launch globally.

This is a genuinely high-impact opportunity with direct exposure to senior leadership and regulators, offering the chance to help shape the future of a rapidly scaling digital assets business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UK FSMA authorisation process for digital asset activities
• Support and manage the firm’s Money Laundering Registration requirements and regulatory submissions
• Conduct gap analysis across existing frameworks and implement remediation plans ahead of regulatory approval
• Act as a senior advisor on UK regulatory matters impacting products, services and business strategy
• Provide regulatory interpretation across UK financial services regulation and wider European frameworks
• Support direct engagement with regulators including preparation of responses to regulatory enquiries
• Lead regulatory horizon scanning and ensure the business remains ahead of regulatory change
• Partner with product, legal and senior leadership teams on strategic regulatory projects
• Support broader compliance advisory, governance and policy development initiatives

Requirements

We are keen to speak with individuals who have:

• Strong experience within Regulatory Compliance, Compliance Advisory or Regulatory Policy roles
• Deep understanding of UK FSMA and broader FCA regulatory frameworks
• Experience supporting or leading authorisation / licensing applications within financial services
• Strong understanding of the UK digital asset / crypto regulatory environment
• Experience working within digital assets, crypto, fintech, payments or broader financial services
• Ability to interpret complex regulation and provide clear commercial advice to senior stakeholders
• Experience operating within fast-moving, highly regulated environments
