I graduated from Newcastle University back in 2015 and it didn’t take long for me to pursue a career in recruitment. I focus on the Insurance and Actuarial market and have built a network across both the interim and permanent sectors.

I pride myself on being a consultant that candidates and clients can really trust, as well as demonstrating a strong technical understanding of my market. Covering a nationwide remit, I mainly focus on developing our Insurance client base to maximise our offering in this space.

Away from the office, I love all things sport and if I’m not in the gym working out, you’ll find me watching local non-league football on a Saturday afternoon. I closely follow football, golf, F1 and NFL, which means Sundays are pretty much always spent in front of the TV!

The company’s approach is very much based on the right principles and whilst Actuarial is a new market for the business, it complements their other areas of operation. I have more than 10 years of experience in the world of employment, ranging from training to full 360 recruitment. I have been nicknamed the ‘Networking Ninja’ in previous roles. I love working with people and the candidate journey is really important to me because a happy candidate results in a happy client, which results in a happy Mandy! My role at MERJE is to pair awesome Front-Line Talent candidates, from Claims Handlers to Customer Service Reps, with a host of great clients.

You can find me dancing away with a phone in one hand and a brew in the other, both in and out of work.
