Ten members of the MERJE team from the company’s London and Manchester offices, have just returned from a three-day trek through the stunning mountains of the Triglav National Park in Slovenia.
The trip was arranged to raise money for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), a charity that provides a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West of England.
“The trek was a lot tougher than we expected but it was great fun,” said MERJE Principal Consultant, Sven Hanger. “We have raised a lot of money for the charity, so the hard work was well worth it in the end.”
Jure Modic, Sports and Challenges Coordinator at CAFT added, “Including the Gift Aid, your 10 members of staff have together with your contribution raised an incredible £18,537.06 already and likely there will be some further sponsorship coming our way in the coming days/weeks. Ultimately – an incredible impact on our charity. And it was your willingness and ‘thinking out of the box’ that made the impact in this way. Thank you so much for your support.”
