MERJE's yearly summer social parties are great opportunities for the teams to let their hair down and enjoy fun activities and good food, but this year we were treated to a very special trip to Barcelona as a thank you for the hard work that led to 2018's record £8.6million turnover.
After an early morning flight, the London and Manchester offices came together and jumped aboard a fully stocked catamaran, exclusively hired for Team MERJE, and took to the sea to make the most of the beautiful weather.
The boat travelled around the city's coastline and allowed for some inter-office mingling before we all went to our hotel to make the most of the rooftop bar with stunning views of the city, before heading out for a great tapas dinner.
Once the civilised dinner and drinks were finished, the slightly more energetic crowd took on some of the bars and clubs that Barcelona has to offer into the small hours of the morning.
