We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to launch and lead our Interim/Contract recruitment desk, specialising in the high-demand Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) space. This is a unique opportunity to make your mark, leveraging our established client base and deep roots within the GRC sector to build a thriving contract division from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:
- Pioneer the GRC Contract Desk: Become the go-to expert for interim/contract recruitment across Governance, Risk & Compliance, establishing and growing this vital part of our business.
- Leverage Existing Relationships: Capitalise on our warm client network within financial services to quickly build your contract pipeline.
- Bring Your Expertise: Utilise your existing knowledge and network within the interim/contract market to identify new opportunities and expand our reach.
- Full Recruitment Cycle Ownership: From candidate sourcing and client management to negotiations and aftercare, you’ll manage the entire contract recruitment process.
- Consultative Approach: Provide bespoke contract recruitment solutions, offering valuable insights and guidance to both clients and candidates within the Governance, Risk & Compliance space.
- Contribute to Our Growth: Play a key role in MERJE’s growth strategy by building a successful and sustainable contract division.
- Collaborate and Thrive: Work closely with specialist teams across the business, leveraging our collective expertise to deliver exceptional results.
What We’re Looking For:
- Contract Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience and a strong network within the interim/contract market, ideally within financial services.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter with the drive and ambition to build a business within a business.
- Strong Communication Skills: A confident communicator, able to build rapport and effectively present information to both clients and candidates.
- Relationship Builder: A natural relationship builder with the ability to forge long-lasting partnerships.
- Target Driven: You’re motivated to achieve targets and build a successful contract desk.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance Knowledge (Advantageous): An understanding of and network within the GRC sector.
- Financial Services Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with the financial services landscape would be beneficial.
