The Role:

As Head of Finance, reporting to the MD and Founder, you will be responsible for directing and mentoring the finance department, ensuring compliance, and seamlessly managing the overall finance function. This role offers an excellent opportunity to shape financial strategy and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

• Oversee all financial activities, including monthly and annual reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage cashflow in line with the business plan and ensure appropriate finance is in place to support growth
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and motivation
• Collaborate with other departments to support business planning and development
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and insurers

Required knowledge and experience for the Head of Finance:

• Proven experience in a senior finance role within the residential development, Property or construction sector
• Demonstrable experience of budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, business plans and business partnering
• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with post qualified experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive business growth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional Stakeholder engagement.
