The Role

As Head of Lending, you will lead the credit risk operations, oversee underwriting and processing teams, and ensure alignment with the company’s credit risk appetite. This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop high-performing underwriting and processing teams
• Manage and review the company’s Lending Policy
• Assess complex residential and commercial mortgage applications
• Identify and develop new lending opportunities
• Report to relevant committees on credit risk and lending performance

Required knowledge and experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant lending environment
• Extensive knowledge of mortgage operations and credit risk decisions
• Strong understanding of PRA/FCA/EBA regulatory rules and guidance
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
