We’re looking for a highly organised, forward-thinking professional to join our Retirement Advice team as a Quality Assurance Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our customers receive consistently excellent advice and outcomes.

In this vital position, you will deliver independent quality assurance across both regulated advice and non-advisory sales processes—helping maintain the highest standards of compliance, professionalism and customer care.

The business is located in Dorset, Southern England, with a hybrid working policy of 1 office day per month.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conducting quality assurance assessments across advised and non-advised activity, including call reviews, advice documentation checks and customer feedback analysis.
  • Reviewing complex pension transfer advice cases and ensuring advice meets regulatory requirements and delivers good customer outcomes.
  • Providing constructive, balanced feedback to advisers to support ongoing professional competence.
  • Developing a robust understanding of the advice processes and risks within the business.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of QA methodology, systems and processes.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely record keeping to support management information and reporting.
  • Maintaining your own professional development and keeping technical knowledge up to date.

Experience Required

  • Experience in financial services, with a solid understanding of FCA regulations.
  • Proven experience conducting effective quality assessments of at-retirement and investment advice.
  • Knowledge of industry-recognised pension transfer advice models.
  • Strong understanding of the at-retirement and investment markets across a range of products.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and communicate clearly at all levels.
  • RO4, Diploma in Financial Planning or Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards).
  • AF3, G60 or equivalent (or working towards).
