- Assess adherence to Consumer Duty, SM&CR, ICOBS and other FCA requirements.
- Deliver assurance across key areas including:
- Product Governance: oversight of fair value assessments (PROD)
- Pricing Compliance: GIPP adherence, fairness and distribution arrangements
- Sales Practices: monitoring of delegated models and distribution channels
- Marketing & Documentation: ensuring customer-facing materials are clear, accurate and compliant
- Identify root causes, highlight compliance gaps and produce high-quality reports with practical, proportionate recommendations.
- Work closely with the Compliance Quality Assurance Business Partner to provide robust second-line assurance across the Commercial function, supporting improvement and best practice.
- Maintain clear evidence and reporting for all monitoring activities, ensuring actions are accurately tracked and completed within agreed timeframes.
- Build strong relationships across the business to support understanding, ownership and remediation of issues.
Regulatory & Governance Support
- Prepare reporting and insights for the Board, Executive Committee and Risk Committee.
- Track, escalate and drive completion of remediation actions.
- Support FCA reporting, SM&CR activities and other regulatory obligations.
What you’ll bring

- Demonstrable experience in compliance monitoring, testing, or assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn findings into meaningful, actionable reports.
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and drive positive change.
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience within UK general insurance compliance or monitoring.
- Degree-level education and relevant professional qualifications (preferred).
