We are supporting our client in the search for a Compliance Advisory Manager to join a collaborative and forward-thinking financial services organisation. This is a second line advisory role suited to someone who enjoys applying judgement, interpreting regulatory requirements proportionately, and supporting the business in making confident, well-governed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Advice: Provide clear, accurate regulatory guidance to first line teams, with a focus on FCA Handbook requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships to embed compliance into day-to-day operations.
- Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify regulatory risks and recommend appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
- Policy & Procedure Support: Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies aligned with current regulatory expectations.
- Regulatory Risk Events: Offer second line advice on regulatory risk events, supporting assessment and escalation of complex issues.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to improving and streamlining compliance processes, including identifying automation opportunities.
- Training & Guidance: Support training initiatives and act as a key point of contact for regulatory queries.
- Change Projects: Provide compliance input into business change initiatives to ensure regulatory risks are considered.
About You:
- Strong understanding of financial services regulation, particularly the FCA Handbook
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and delivery-focused
- Skilled in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- A proactive compliance mindset with a focus on integrity and customer outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Confidence in exercising independent judgement and escalating when required
- Previous compliance advisory experience within financial services
