Transaction Monitoring Manager – £100,000

MERJE is supporting a leading financial services business with the appointment of a Transaction Monitoring Manager to play a key role within its growing Transaction Monitoring function.

This is a broad role combining Transaction Monitoring oversight, team/workload management and the ongoing development of TM systems and controls.

You will oversee the day-to-day Transaction Monitoring workload, ensuring alerts and investigations are appropriately managed, prioritised and escalated. You will provide support on more complex cases and help maintain a consistent and effective approach across the team.

A significant part of the role will involve working closely with data and testing teams to develop and enhance the Transaction Monitoring framework. This will include testing, calibration and list management, alongside supporting system and process changes and ensuring these are effectively embedded within BAU operations.

Previous experience using Actimize would be highly beneficial, particularly where this has included involvement in testing, calibration, system enhancements or optimisation.

You will also have exposure to related areas including SARs, sanctions screening, production orders and law enforcement/regulatory requests.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on Transaction Monitoring and AML investigations experience, combined with the ability to oversee an operational workload and work effectively with data, technology and testing teams.
