Senior Transaction Monitoring Analyst – £80,000

London | Hybrid – 3 days in the office | Permanent

MERJE is supporting a leading financial services business with the appointment of a Senior Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join its growing Transaction Monitoring team.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced TM professional who can take ownership of more complex alerts, investigations and escalations.

You will review transactional activity, investigate potentially suspicious behaviour and ensure cases are appropriately documented, escalated and, where required, progressed through the SAR process.

Alongside core Transaction Monitoring activity, you will have exposure to wider areas including sanctions alerts, production orders and requests from law enforcement and regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will have strong Transaction Monitoring and AML investigations experience within financial services and be comfortable dealing with complex cases with a good degree of autonomy.

Previous experience using Actimize would be highly beneficial.

Crypto/digital asset experience would also be particularly useful, including exposure to blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis and experience assessing transactions involving the movement of crypto assets.
