FCC Programme Manager – Financial Crime
London | Hybrid | 6-month FTC | c.£125k-£150k pro rata
MERJE is supporting a leading financial services firm going through a significant transformation programme, looking to appoint an experienced FCC Programme Manager to work closely with the MLRO and support the delivery of a major Financial Crime change programme.
This is a senior, hands-on 2nd Line role, helping to strengthen and embed Financial Crime governance, oversight, assurance and control frameworks across the business.
The role will include:
- Leading key 2LOD Financial Crime programme deliverables
- Supporting the enhancement of FCC frameworks, policies and controls
- Providing effective oversight and challenge of 1LOD
- Strengthening assurance, monitoring, MI and KRIs
- Working closely with the MLRO and senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance and the business
- Ensuring improvements are properly embedded into BAU
We’re looking for someone with:
- Strong 2LOD Financial Crime experience
- A track record of delivering large-scale regulatory transformation or remediation programmes
- Experience of regulatory reviews, Skilled Persons / Section 166 or similar remediation work
- Strong knowledge of the UK Financial Crime regulatory environment
- The credibility to operate with Executive and Board-level stakeholders
- Ideally, experience within retail financial services, wealth management, private banking or investment management
This is initially a 6-month FTC with full employee benefits, but the wider programme is expected to continue well beyond the initial term, so there is good potential for extension.
Salary: c.£125k, with potential flexibility towards £150k for an exceptional candidate.
