Transaction Monitoring Analyst – £60,000

MERJE is supporting a leading financial services business with the appointment of a Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join its growing Transaction Monitoring team.

This is a hands-on role within the 2nd Line, supporting the review and investigation of transaction monitoring alerts and identifying potentially suspicious activity.

The role will involve reviewing and investigating alerts, analysing customer and transactional activity, documenting findings and escalating cases where appropriate. You will also support related activity including SARs, sanctions screening alerts, production orders and requests from law enforcement or regulatory bodies.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience within Transaction Monitoring, AML investigations or a similar Financial Crime operations environment within financial services.

Previous experience using Actimize would be highly beneficial.

You should be comfortable working through alerts and investigations, making risk-based decisions and clearly documenting the rationale behind your conclusions.
