Recent trends in contact centre leadership recruitment

Recruitment for Contact Centres in the last twelve months has seen a lot of activity at the senior end of the market and within the interim space. The need for Senior leadership in these changing times has been very apparent.

Over the next twelve months further movement towards an increase in interim appointments seems likely given the instability in the wider financial market.

The result of this is a buoyant interim market, with many companies looking to bring in specialists to handle project work, such as process improvement, quality assurance, change management and to fill operational contact centre management gaps.

The industry though is still growing in the UK, particularly for smaller SME contact centres, specialising in new areas such as Fintech. There are also always new innovations, especially in automation, with the move to robotics for back office functions, and the creation of virtual bankers operating in call centres. All this bodes well for the future of the sector, which continues to develop and evolve.
