​We're overjoyed to have won the award for Recruitment Partner of the Year at the Credit Awards once more. This is the third time we’ve taken home the top prize in this category, which recognizes excellence in recruitment for the credit and collections industry.

The judges highlighted our innovative approach to recruitment, which includes using data analytics and market-leading software to identify the best candidates, as well as our collaborative approach and commitment to long-lasting partnerships.

We were also commended for our dedication to diversity and inclusion, and our continuous stream of insightful articles.

In addition to winning the Recruitment Partner of the Year Award, we also sponsored the Mortgage Lender of the Year award. Barry McDonald, Business Manager for Customer Contact, Business Change & Transformation (Scotland), presented the trophy to Leeds Building Society who took the top spot.

It was a competitive category with eight finalists overall. So much so, that a recognition of Highly Commended was awarded to Skipton Building Society as well.

The Credit Awards 2023, organised by Credit Strategy and hosted by Katherine Ryan, was attended by over 500 guests from the credit and collections industry, including our own Barry, Neil, Ellie Sykes (Director – Credit Risk & Analytics), and Kirstie Burn (Director – Governance). The event was a great success and a fantastic celebration of the best in the industry.

We’re delighted, not only to have been involved in the event through our sponsorship of the Mortgage Lender of the Year category, but to take home the accolade of Recruitment Partner of the Year too.

This year’s Credit Awards is our second of three event collaborations with Credit Strategy in 2023. Ellie, Barry, Neil, Kirstie, Tom Cook, and Lorraine Carroll enjoyed a jam-packed day at the Credit Summit back in April, and Kirstie and Ellie will be flying the MERJE flag at the Women in Credit Awards in September.
